I definitely believe that sun can heel you and Andreas explain it in this booklet in plain English.
This booklet is actually a part from his bigger book Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation so if you own it you don't need this one but if you don't you can find here very useful information.

This is an excellent book and one that you might want to share with family or friends who have been diagnosed with skin cancer. The author suggests that the sun is not something to be avoided for fear of cancer. In fact, he says that research has proven that skin cancers occur most frequently in those who seldom spend time outdoors; who are exposed to artificial light during most of their work time; and those who use sunscreen and sunglasses to block out the sun's rays. I found this very interesting because I have 3 siblings. One works in construction and is obviously outside a lot. The other two are office workers. Guess which two got skin cancer. The author also brings diet into the equation, suggesting that Vitamin D is essential; that some polyunsaturated fats up the risk of cancer, and that liver toxicity needs to be addressed. Plus so much more.

There is a wealth of information and food for thought here. I found the whole book fascinating. Highly recommend.

Heal Yourself with Sunlight

Like everything else that Andreas writes about the idea that sun is good for you makes so much sense, look at how many Asians in Great Britain get rickets which is due to a lack of sunlight. The trouble is there is always money involved, the cosmetic companies must make so much money from sunscreens and advertising is so successful so before we know it we are all brainwashed into buying these products. Well I have always believed sun was good for you because I remember learning that at school (many, many years ago) and the sun gives you the most vitamin D because it is more easily absorbed than taking it in tablet form. I did think that you probably needed sunscreen in strong sunlight but the reality is no one should be sunbathing when the sun is at it's peak (11am till 3pm), in other words you still need to be sensible. For the last two years, since reading this book I have carried out an experiment on myself and not used sunscreen, I haven't had any sunburn whilst in Great Britain or whilst on holiday in Turkey but have developed a very natural tan which seems to last all the year round. So I recommend this book to anyone and also all the other books Andreas has written, I just wish I had found them sooner.

They are reconciled, and their friendship/romance is ready to move to a new level. Spinelli's teenagers are fresh and funny, sometimes crude, sometimes poignant, and always very real. Grade 7-9 Jason Herkimer, the star of Spinelli's Space Station Seventh Grade (Little, 1982) is now in ninth grade and anxious to tell readers about his burgeoning sexuality and his romance with Marceline McAllister. While all of his friends seem to be scoring direct hits with their first loves, Jason is not certain where or how to begin, and his X-rated mind has to cope with a girl who thinks kissing is quite enough for now. Meanwhile, the steam rises from seemingly endless torrid stories of sexual conquests all about him. Spinelli has achieved a sort of reputation as a bad-boy of juvenile letters, and here he moves into previously untouched areaslots of hickeys, sperm, and hormones. It's all done for laughs, and Spinelli can be very funny, if very crude. Some adults will shudder or sputter over this one, but YAs will love it. It's a quick, witty read, and even the print is big. this book was cute

This was another book that i read in a day or two in junior high. I really liked it. It was funny at times, and romantic at times too. I recommend this book to the ages of 12 and up. younger children would not appreciate this story as much. i would like to reread it over and over again

As a teacher, this is one book I won't have on my shelf.

I am a 7th grade reading teacher, and I have read both Space Station Seventh Grade and its sequel Jason and Marceline. Space Station Seventh Grade is a good book and is very true to life in middle school. Jason and Marceline consists of guys talking about who's "doing it" and the size of girls' breasts and how they'd like to get their hands on them. This may be the type of conversation that goes on in middle school, but I think it is demeaning to the girls. The book summary on Amazon.com says that Jason is surprised to find that Marceline rejects him, but that's not quite the whole story. Jason pressures Marceline to let him give her a hickey, and he gets angry and stomps off when she won't let him. They finally get back together, and she makes him promise he won't give her a hickey. I'm concerned that the message it sends is that girls who don't give in to their boyfriends will lose them, and that's not a message I want to endorse.

Jason and Marceline

Have you ever wondered if you and your friend could be more than just friends? Jason Herkimer and Marceline McAllister have only been friends for almost two years and their relationship is just starting. This relationship is filled with humor and heartbreak up against hormones. They only good thing that seems to be coming out of this new relationship is that Marceline and Jason know when to tell each other off.

In this sequel to Space Station Seventh Grade, Jason and Marceline begin to get to know themselves a lot more together. Jason's sexual feelings have awakened but Marceline is always self-concerned and most concerned with doing what she feels right. But somehow they begin to feel an attraction towards one another but the pressure Jason puts on Marceline to be more sexual in their relationship brings them apart. Will this love-hate relationship last?

I found this book very interesting yet very funny and outrageous because of the descriptions Jerry Spinelli uses to tell the little or big arguments that Jason and Marceline have. This book could probably be read from the ages of 12-15. I think most junior high students would be able to relate themselves to the same things Jason and Marceline go through such as peer pressure. Each chapter you read through brings about a new conflict for Jason and Marceline and you can see from Jason's point of view, how they come about. You get to experience the challenges, humor, and heartbreak of first love.

Ironside's commentaries are a standard and have stood the test of time. They are reliable and based on solid exegesis and offer practical insights into the text. Other commentaries in this series are The Minor Prophets and Revelation. New books will be forthcoming in the months ahead. These commentaries were originally published by Loizeaux Brothers. which is no longer in business. Kregel is doing pastors and teachers a great service in reprinting these books for us. About the Author
H.A. Ironside (1876-1951) was an internationally acclaimed Bible teacher and preacher, as well as the author of more than sixty books. His writings include addresses or commentaries on the entire New Testament, all of the Old Testament prophetic books, and a great many volumes on other biblical topics. For eighteen of his fifty years of ministry, Dr. Ironside was pastor of the historic Moody Memorial Church in Chicago, Ill.

A theologically sound interpretation with applications.

Ironside is marvelous in his commentary on Daniel. His interpretation of prophecies are very sound as well as his interpretation of the whole book. The part of the book that is amazing is the personal application which he draws from the very rich pages of the book of Daniel. A masterpiece in biblical interpretation.

A great commentary on the book of Daniel

Overall it helped me understand the book of Daniel better than just about any commentary I've read. There were a few things that I (and other commentators that I trust) disagree with his interpretation of, but considering how long ago it was written, I still think it is a relevant and necessary commentary to read for any Christian seeking to understand the book of Daniel better. I've started slowly getting all of Ironside's commentaries.

The feats of personal endurance demanded by service in the ‘Indian Army’ of Colonel Brander’s day may seem to surpass fiction but they are recorded by history as fact. A treasure-house of unfamiliar and unexpected information

"Waziristan to Tibet" was my most rewarding read in a long time. Don't be put off by the purely military title of this engaging book because it opens eyes to all sorts of ancillary interests. For example I had no idea that units of the Indian Army constructed the railway from Sibi to Quetta through perhaps the most challenging mountain terrain ever attempted, or later the Gilgit stages of the Indus Valley Highway. The railway included 158 bridges including the dizzying Chappar Rift crossing. Its scenic wonders made it a tourist attraction until sections were destroyed by Baluchistan terrorist action in 2006. All this, as Colonel Brander remarks, by Sikh volunteers whose valorous service was given with spade in one hand and rifle in the other. As to the fruitless invasion of Tibet, with its bizarre personality conflicts at every level and the amazing endurance of the troops concerned, the historic facts challenge belief. The book has enduring relevance to current problems of the region as well, including the rise of the Taliban, which will not escape the thoughtful reader. Stimulating and enjoyable. (Google 'Chappar Rift' for amazing pics. Colonel Brander was much too modest about the railway which was called "The Engineering Miracle of the World".)

A fascinating historical account of the British in India and Tibet

I found this book to be fascinating and very well done. Based on the journals of his grandfather, Colonel H.R. Brander, Cyril Lucas has provided a very interesting and coherent account of the world and happenings of India and Tibet during the period of the late 1880s to early 1900s. In reading the descriptions of the life and campaigns of the British and Indian armies in India, Afghanistan, and Tibet, I was impressed at how much has changed but how much is still the same in that area. For example, I read the book on a Kindle while following the routes of travel on an iPad using Google Maps. But, Afghanistan is in as much turmoil now as it was at the turn of the last century when the British and Indian governments were concerned about potential Russian influence in the region.

It helps, but you do not have to be a history buff to enjoy this book. The marches, battles, and interpersonal relationships are interesting enough to be enjoyed even if the book had been pure fiction. It just makes it more special to know that the book is based on a factual account and that the battles and marches really happened.

Fascinating and Insightful

A friend recommended this book and I was delighted to find it lived up to his glowing review. Combining extensive contemporary research with the personal journals of his grandfather, Cyril Lucas, tells the story of Colonel H. R. Brander's service in the 32nd Sikh Pioneers from the late 1880's up to the British expedition to Tibet, culminating in 1904. It is a truly astounding tale of courage and fortitude, displayed by Brander and the men he commanded, who together faced danger and hardships that often defy belief. A nice children's picture book, NOT by Papini.

This is a nice, large print CHILDREN'S picture book, about the life of Christ, with no single author credited. It is a British edition, in no way connected to anything Giovanni Papini wrote. Papini's is a 450 page novelized biography of Christ, with no illustrations, decidedly for an adult audience, translated into English from Italian in 1923. The above title, as nice as it is, is listed incorrectly, and has nothing to do with Papini or his novel, and should be listed as a children's book.

This book is old 1920's but is very poetic and puts into terms we can readily understand what Christ did for us. The Nativity is very moving and is always a holiday addition to our celebrations. For those that appreciate the holiday for the true meaning it is a moving explanation of the birth in the stable.

This book travels through the time that Christ was present in this world. It is a thought-provoking book, the language is beautiful and descriptive. I suggest spending the money for the copy to add to your library.

I remember purchasing this title about some twenty years ago. As i read the book i was amazed by the truthfulness of its author. He wrote with such clarity and unbiased words. I awe-struck and enjoyed every page written...that was some twenty
years ago. To date, i am still awe-struck as i read this precious copy of what i
throught was a lost book and forgotten author..but i was again blessed by my faith
in God as He opened up a door for me to receive this copy of such a well written and
marvelous story of the Life of Christ.i beleive that every student of biblical studies and pastor of various congregations should have such a book in his or her
library...a treasure that will last for sometime in the hearts and minds of its readers. it has the power of the holy spirit of move beyond one's often closed mind-set and allow them to enter into the reality of the birth of Christ and the first place he laid...in a manager.....one that we often never attribute to his laying nor the very environment that he was born in. from the striking reality of his environmental birth place, to the richness of his death on the cross, to the human touch into the lives of so many of his Father's creation in human-kind. this book
has found a forever place in my heart and among the many books of my blessed library. how i am glad that i finally found, by faith and pray, what i had sought God for, for so many years. thank amazonbooks...more so thank u Father.
