EXCELLENT - a great value for the money

I am a management consultant and business law professor. I frequently have the opportunity to present to entrepreneurs and individuals interested in start up advise. I constantly recommend this book to people who are new to the business plan writing process. The book is outlined in a way that walks people through each step of writing the business plan. The reason I like this book so much is because of the detailed thought processes. The book forces the reader to think of and address a series of questions or issues that many first timers would forget or not even know to ask or consider. This book is probably not for people who have been through the process before or those have a professional writing their business plan, but for those who are doing it themselves and/or doing it for the first time.

Not worth the price, you will be dissapointed.

I feel that for the price of this book there could have been way more information, and the information they provided could have been much more in depth. It also seems as though the author used common information from one of their previous business books and just copied it into this one. Really not worth the money, you can find just as much and so much more on the internet for free.

Deep relief in these trying times

When I ordered this book, I had no idea how important it would be. Illness, loss and grief as parts of this dear universe have been major themes in my life over the past few weeks. On one of those 'I can't imagine getting out of bed' kind of days, some wise voice inside me got me to open Dear Universe. I'm so glad I did. I read it cover to cover in the next few hours. I got out of bed feeling connected, supported and able to love all the complexities of what I was feeling. Since then, I've added it to the daily readings that I start my days with. It's been amazing how fruitful and insightful Yolo's words have been. It's rare that I find such spiritual wisdom woven together with social justice in such an authentic and expansive way. Thank you, Dear Universe!

This book is everything.

Ok, not EVERYTHING, but there are so many relevant topics. I like that I don't have to read it straight through, I can flip open to a page, read a section, and think about it the whole day. I use this sometimes for journaling topics.

A Love Story For Many!

Chrissy Fanslau tells the story of a young girl named Adonia who falls head over heels for a hunk named Luke. It's not every day that the girl gets her own dream guy but Adonia does. That is until a secret becomes known and rocks Adonia's world. Luke is the first man she has ever truly loved and cares about could disappear within the blink of an eye. Will she allow this secret to get to her? What is this unknown secret? I will not spoil things for you, you'll have to find out yourself!

The story is very well written, the characters are lovable as well as unique, and you'll not want to put it down! Perfect for YA readers or anyone else wanting to read a fantastic high school love story. Check it out!

Such a well written, fun, simply great book-I know you will love it!!

Adonia was NOT looking forward to the next 3 weeks. Her best friend was going on vacation and leaving her alone, and she had no clue what she was going to do without her. That is, until she met the Greek God of her dreams. His name is Luke and he's not only gorgeous but smart, sweet, funny...literally every girl's dream. And for some strange reason he chose her!
Adonia was on cloud nnine and couldn't be happier, but she senses Luke is holding something back. She's worried, but it can't be that bad....can it?

Chrissy Fanslau has written a book that draws you in so completely you tune out everything around you while you are reading it (no seriously-it totally happened to me!) and it really doesn't matter how old you are...My Best Friend's Brother is a book everyone will love. The writing is amazing, the story entertaining and captivating, and the characters are fun, believable, and relatable.
Fanslau crafts her story and her world beautifully. She drops you in the middle of Alaska and shows you the beauty and harshness of it. She puts you in Adonia's mind and shoes as she goes about her life. You see everything through her eyes as it happens, and it makes you feel like part of the story. Her detail and description let you see everything clearly but they don't distract you from the story.
Her characters are just as thought out and developed as everything else in this book. Fanslau gives us people, not just characters. They are relatable and believable; they have thoughts and dreams and personalities. They think and act like anyone of that age would. And they're just plain awesome lol.
Whether you are in your teens or are sometimes struggling to remember your teens this book will amuse and entertain you. I honestly can't think of anything bad to say about My Best Friend's Brother, and I can't wait to read the next one!

Wonderful and witty!

Luke and Adonia fall in love, and all seems to be going more than well. Until Luke starts acting a little off and she wonders what's going on. He won't open up to her, but one night she finally finds out the truth behind his odd behavior. She has no idea what to do. She loves Luke and doesn't want to lose him. She has a decision to make, but it won't just effect her life, but those of two people she cares deeply about.

I really liked this book! Favreau is a very talented and gifted writer, and My Best Friend's Brother is on my list of favorites. The cast of characters is well thought out, with all them complementing the story very well. I highly recommend!!

Great reference

This is an awesome book! I bought it when one of my docs recommended it and I couldn't have been more happy with it. I used it to study for NBEO part 2 national boards and it was very helpful. It's also nice to have on hand in clinic to look up anything you may need to, it's usually in this book!

Best Yoga Book Out There!

A dear friend gave me a copy of this book (paperback) in 1978 and I absolutely love it. Over the years, I wore it out and it fell apart. I was thrilled to find this hardcover copy! This is the simplest, easiest yoga book out there. If you follow the plan for 28 days as it suggests, you will see results! Anyone can do these yoga poses even if you are carrying excess weight. Each pose can be done in moderation until you become stronger and leaner. Just keep doing the poses and eventually you will become a master. The mother of learning is repetition! You can have the hard core yoga books or instructions....I'll take nice and easy. Yoga is beneficial not only to tone your body/figure, but it also takes care of your organs and works your body from the inside out. Yoga helps line up your body, mind and soul. If you are like me and you don't want to huff & puff with aerobics, then this book is for you. I am in my 50s, yoga and walking are all I need in regards to exercise. Richard Hittleman's Yoga book is simply the best!!!

Great potential..

Took it Mex last week and found only 1 out of the 3 caves I looked for. I did not find 27 steps (I think roads are no longer there) and Chicken Water - both are near Akumal. GPS coordinates appear wrong too (maybe my GPS was set wrong) - tried to verify coordinate on known cave and they were still way off.

Book has amazing potential but Mr. Gerrard need to drive each cave and ensure the directions are correct; so much has changed in the Rivera audit keeps . I've dove many of the usual caves so once I leave the beaten path the directions need to be somewhat accurate for the book to be valuable.

THE definitive guide to Riviera Maya!

I have Steve's previous book and have used it to entice people to join me on trips to Tulum area. I was actually very surprised when the new addition arrived. I figured it would just be an updated version maybe some newer pictures.

This version is jam packed with information that must have taken years to assemble and put into a systematic encyclopedia of the cenotes, caves and history surrounding Rivera Maya. Even though I have been visiting the area for nearly 10 years I found lots of new places to dive and good intelligence on how to do. Information such as where to pick up the key or who is the acual land owner can be hard to come by for visitors. Stee has pulled back the curtain on local only knowledge and generously shared with us all.
I have first hand knowledge of several places mentioned in the book, some only very recently opened to the public and all the information is spot on from my experiences.
Once upon a time this knowledge would only come from hard work establishing relationships and possibly multiple rounds of tequila with the right people.
Anyone from backpackers looking to snorkel in a pristine Cenote to hardcore visiting cave divers will benefit from bringing the guide along with them in their gear bag.
Thanks for the obvious labor of love! You have created a follow up edition that manages to surpass the excellence of the original. A rare accomplishment.

An amazing Book for anyone who is a cave diver or anyone interested in cave diving

It's been a few years since I have dove the Cenotes. The last few years have been mostly in the caves in Central Florida. I received Steve's book this morning and spent several hours bouncing around in it reading the descriptions of many of the places I have seen and I look forward to reading more over the next few days of places I want to see in the Fall of 2016. Steve's descriptions are concise and yet give the true cave diver the ability to see what he has seen. Steve also goes into details about the landowners and flow of many of the systems so that we can better understand the systems and the history behind them. Great book for anyone who is a cave diver and a neat book for the average recreational diver who may be interested in taking the next step.
